About Me

Koong Kok Leong: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Mr. Koong Kok Leong obtians his Master degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Computer Science specializing in Programming and Networking from University of Central Oklahoma, United States. He worked as a Senior System Engineer in Dow Jone Telerate for 7 years specialized in supporting, building and deploying difference type of networks and servers. Then, he become a part time lecturer teaching Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Studio Max and Web Design in colleges. In 2006, he join New Era College as Head of Department of Computer Center. During his possession, he has developed a web content management system using PHP and MySQL which currently used as the back end engine for New Era current web site. At the same time, he work as a part time lecturer teaching at the evening session on networking, network security, multimedia, 3D animation, C programming, Operating System, Web programming and Computer Graphics. In 2011, he has joined the DISCS department of New Era College as a full time lecturer until 2014. And he has been appointed as head of the department until 2016. Currently, he is working as full time lecturer in Firstcity University College.
